From: Mathieu Desnoyers Date: Thu, 6 Oct 2016 16:57:45 +0000 (-0400) Subject: Fix: ignore SIGPIPE X-Git-Tag: v2.8.2~3 X-Git-Url: https://git.lttng.org./?a=commitdiff_plain;h=e0b31a80470c6400daa4cd62dd56d3542f031251;p=lttng-tools.git Fix: ignore SIGPIPE Issuing fprintf() to stderr (thus write() to the standard error file descriptor) within the SIGPIPE signal handler is bad: it can trigger SIGPIPE repeatedly if the listening end has closed its end of the pipe. Set the SIGPIPE action to SIG_IGN in relayd, sessiond, and consumerd. This was affecting sessiond and relayd. The consumerd did not print anything to stderr.
